The social media network Threads has a pretty good virtual film community, though it takes a while to get Meta’s algorithm up to speed on your preferences. A fun thing that’s been going around the past few days is compiling random top lists of favorite movies, TV shows, etc. I love me a trend that focuses on positivity instead of snarky hate.
I’m kind of fried prepping for my first-ever screenwriting class this week, so I’m just gonna repost a couple of fun ones that I’ve done the last few days.
ON THAT NOTE (see how smooth that was?) – if you’re in Northeast Ohio and want to hear me yammer about screenwriting for a couple of hours, come on out to the Wildwood Cultural Center in Mentor. Next Wednesday, March 4, I’m doing a two-hour lecture from 6-8 pm. The following Wednesday night kicks off a four-week screenwriting workshop, where we’ll be working on actual pages.
